Commendation from the City of Henderson
On March 19, 2013, the Friends of Henderson Libraries received a commendation from Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen and Councilmen March, Schroder, Bateman and Marz recognizing the hard work and dedication our Friends group has offered to the Henderson Libraries.
Baker & Taylor Award
In 2009, Friends of Henderson Libraries received the Baker & Taylor Award receiving a check for $1,000. The Baker & Taylor Awards recognize library Friends groups throughout the country for efforts in supporting their public, academic and school libraries.
